About the Role
We’re hiring a Director of Business Development. This is a senior, high-performance executive role with broad ownership across growth, partnerships, client relationships, and delivery quality.
Your primary job is sales. You will receive qualified inbound leads, and with them, you will run discovery, shape engagements, and close clients. Once work is sold, you will partner with our strategists and designers to ensure clear problem framing, strong requirements, and a successful handoff.
You will also be responsible for sourcing new leads, both directly and by cultivating relationships with venture capital firms, software vendors, founders, and world-class creators. You are expected to be a key external representative for Rare Days, articulating our perspective on product, strategy, and execution.
This role requires range. At different moments you will act as a product strategist, client advisor, salesperson, proposal lead, and internal operator. You are expected to move fluidly between these modes while maintaining a high bar for quality and clarity.
This is a role for someone who wants real responsibility and the opportunity to grow into broader executive leadership over time.
