About Us
Rare Days is a digital product studio. We build world-class software for ambitious brands, creators, and founders, who want to move fast, and build products the right way, the first time.

We care deeply about technical and design excellence, and we hire accordingly. Our team has built products at companies like Airbnb, Shopify, Amazon, Notion, Apple and more. We bring that same level of rigor to every engagement, regardless of size or stage.

For 5 years we have worked closely with some of the world’s most influential creators, helping them build world class products for their audiences. Our partners include Dr Becky, Ryan Serhant, Esther Perel, Mythical, Codie Sanchez, and more.

Rare Days is a remote-first company with hubs in Vancouver, Toronto, and New York. We operate primarily within North American time zones and are open to candidates located within four hours of PST. Preference is given to Canadian applicants.

About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Director of Partnerships. This is a focused, high-output role with one primary objective: fill our pipeline with qualified leads.
This is not a closing role. Our leadership team handles discovery, proposals, and closing. Your job is to get the right people into the room. You will do that by leveraging your network, building new relationships, and identifying the channels and partnerships that unlock consistent inbound for Rare Days.

We are targeting three categories of client:
  • Creators and personal brands with budgets of $50K or more, looking to build or evolve their digital products or brands
  • Enterprise companies with project budgets exceeding $300K, particularly those looking to build AI-powered tools, internal platforms, community products, or content-driven applications
  • High-growth startups, particularly those backed by top-tier VC funds or coming out of accelerators like YC

You will operate with significant autonomy (there's no rigid playbook). We'll be focused on results.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and work your network of founders, VC funds, accelerators, and software vendors to generate qualified introductions for Rare Days
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with platforms like Shopify, and with vendors across the AI and software ecosystem, to create consistent referral channels
  • Identify and pursue enterprise prospects, particularly engineering and product leaders at companies navigating AI transformation
  • Represent Rare Days externally, articulating our point of view on product, design, and execution with credibility and clarity
  • Work closely with the CEO and VP of Partnerships to refine our ICP, sharpen our positioning, and prioritize the highest-value opportunities
  • Contribute to Rare Days' content and marketing strategy as our public repositioning toward AI and enterprise accelerates

What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in startups, consulting, or agency environments.
  • Strong management consulting expertise; and/or experience founding companies
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder types and aligning divergent perspectives.
  • Confidence in leading discovery, navigating constraints, and advocating for simplification.
  • Demonstrated success in selling software projects exceeding six figures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Compensation and benefits
  • Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission. Candidates who meet target earn $250K+ CAD, with upside beyond that for overperformance.
  • Growth-focused environment, with hands on mentorship from the CEO and VP of Partnerships
  • Unlimited paid time off for vacation, sick days, and personal time
  • Flexible working hours and a remote-first culture
  • Extended health care benefits for Canadian employees

As an organization headquartered in British Columbia, we’re required to post the salary range if the position is to be filled locally. This range may be higher or lower for candidates based outside of BC, and actual pay will take into account the candidate’s experience and competencies.

We understand that women and other marginalized groups may hesitate to apply for roles unless they meet every qualification. If this role excites you, but you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway! We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion, diversity, and hiring exceptional talent from around the world.

Compensation

$200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
